The Water Resources Division is pleased to announce that Tucker Robb has been promoted to Construction Operations Manager. Tucker rejoined McMillen Jacobs Associates in 2019 as a Project Manager after previously serving with us for three years as an Assistant Project Manager from 2011 – 2014. Since Tucker’s return, he has made a significant impact in our Construction Division, leading our Idaho Power projects, including concrete repairs at Upper Malad Diversion and Reject Spillway, buoy construction at Brownlee Dam, and most recently our fast-tracked outage work for Avista which led to a follow-up contract. Tucker’s experience on these jobs will help him as he tackles this new challenge.

As a Construction Operations Manager, Tucker will be responsible for the management of day-to-day Construction Operations for small-cap projects. Tucker will manage Project Management teams, working closely with PMs and Project Superintendents to ensure the delivery of the company’s core objects of safety, quality, schedule, equipment utilization, and project profitability. Tucker will report to Kurt McManigal, Director of Construction, VP, and work alongside Dave Holt, our other Construction Operations Manager, to implement processes, manage work, and grow our teams and business.

Tucker has over 9 years of broad experience in the private and public sectors. Specific categories include heavy civil, industrial, high-profile commercial, environmental restoration, historical building renovation, and multi-phased capital projects for large customers. He has managed several projects ranging from $65k – $8M. Tucker carries multiple OSHA certifications, is President of Boise State’s Construction Management Alumni Association and best of all, he is an Eagle Scout. When Tucker isn’t working, you can find him paddleboarding down crazy rapids, coaching for the Special Olympics, playing flag football, softball, golfing, or just about anything active!

Congratulations, Tucker!
