McMillen Jacobs Water Resources Division is extending a big welcome to new employees Greg Clark and Jon Burgi. Greg is joining our Structural team as a Lead Managing Structural Engineer, and Jon is joining our Civil team as a Civil / Water Resources Engineer.
Greg brings us more than 25 years of project experience in the water resources and structural engineering industries. His background includes project management and technical work on water reservoirs and pump stations, fish passage facilities, dams, storm-water collection and treatment facilities, hydraulic modeling, and structural engineering for building systems. He is the project manager and structural lead for our Crane Valley Dam Spillway Flashboard Testing Project with PG&E.
Jon recently returned to the States after five years in Nicaragua as part of the Engineering Ministries International organization. There he provided surveying, architectural, and engineering services for projects/clients who couldn’t afford or didn’t have access to those professions. In total, he brings 16 years of civil engineering experience to the team, including extensive work in hydroelectric facilities, rivers, fish passages, fish screens, and canals. Jon will be working on our Bear Creek Penstock for Central Rivers Powers, and various repair projects at USFWS’s Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery.
Welcome to Greg and Jon!
